AZERBAIJAN TV AUDIENCE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM LAUNCH
TİAK continued to provide consultancy throughout the entire preparation process of launching Azerbaijan TAM data. Dealings have been started in September 2020, with the visit of Azerbaijan Media Delegation headed by Vice President Hikmet HACIYEV to TİAK and following that, in July 2021, TİAK was invited to Baku by the Chairman of Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan İsmət Səttarov and TİAK conveyed Türkiye's experience in measurement to the Azerbaijan television industry.
In consequence of preparations, the Azerbaijan Television Audience Measurement System was launched in Baku on November 17, 2022, and reporting for the industry will begin on first day of January 2023.
TİAK General Manager Dursun GÜLERYÜZ made one of the opening speeches and answered questions of television channels about the Turkish system as an invitee by MARSA (Media Audience Research System of Azerbaijan) who coordinated the measurement system.
